FLYING TO LONDON

Amy drove us to Logan Express, and we got there just as the 4:00 PM bus was getting ready to leave. The bus then went to a satellite parking lot to pick up more people. A full bus. Traffic was a bit snarly on the way in to Logan Airport. So glad we are on the bus instead of driving! We got to Logan about 5:15. Went to the Aer Lingus gate, and the attendant gave us new boarding passes and weighed our luggage. Next through regular security, as the TSA fast security was not available. Not a very big line. Then walked to Gate C20 to wait. Gwyn got waters and her favorite cauliflower chips. I got her a yogurt, and a turkey sandwich for me. Security was there taking pictures of everyone as we boarded the plane. They boarded us early, but we sat and waited in the plane for Air Force One to take off first. President Biden was in Boston to meet the Prince of Wales. If we were flying British Airways, the Royals may have been on the plane. I don't think Gwyn could have survived that!

Gwyn played the trivia game on the in flight entertainment system while we waited.

We finally took off at 7:36 PM instead of 7:25 PM. I counted 10 planes behind us.

We had chicken with corn, a roll, feta salad, and chocolate mousse. I took pictures of the night sky. Some came out really well. Watched a Christmas Office and some Season 3 of The Derry Girls. Gwyn chatted with the lady sitting next to her. I dozed some, but mostly just rested.
