Greenwich

Our original plan was to head to Paris, but the more we thought about it, that would have been quite a travel challenge. And we did not want any stress added to our trip.

Instead of going to Caffè Nero for breakfast, we decided to explore a bit. We took a right and found the Exmouth Coffee Company. The breakfast was fantastic!

We decided to head over to Greenwich and spend the day. Our first stop was the Greenwich Market. Next we went into the National Maritime Museum. The art work was beautiful. We had headphones to listen to the tour, but a tour guide came along to take us and a few others on a tour. Magnificent paintings on the ceilings. They provided large flat sofas to lie down on to see the paintings.

Next was the Royal Observatory. You always have to stand on the Prime Meridian when you go.

After that, we headed back to London, and stopped into Harrods. We then spent the next few hours wandering the streets of London amongst the throngs of people looking at the beautiful Christmas lights hanging from the streets and buildings. This included The Ritz, the store fronts of Tiffany, Cartier, Chanel, Dior, and the Carnaby area.

It was time to head back to hour hotel for the night.
